Blue Ridge Mountain Photos – Cades Cove

I can’t believe it’s been nearly 3 months since my husband and I went to Cades Cove and I still haven’t shared these! Here are some of my favorites from the storm that rolled in about halfway through the 11 mile loop that takes you through Cades Cove. We were even treated to the most amazing lightening streaking over the mountains while where we stood was safe and not raining. It was so incredible! At first I was disappointed that it was going to rain and not be ideal for photography, but it turned out, it was perfect! I love how moody the shots are. Plus, you can definitely tell why they are called the Blue Ridge Mountains!
